This is Carrie’s sixth American Music Award! American Idol host Ryan Seacrest had the honor of presenting the AMA for Artist of the Year, which went to Justin Bieber. The Idol winner co-wrote and recorded the title song, “There’s a Place for Us” for the holiday motion picture event, “The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader.” How will the newlywed celebrate Thanksgiving? Carrie will perform at the 84th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade live from New York City. Carrie Underwood welcomed the Idol crew home in honor of the upcoming 10th season of American Idol. She was just 19 when she appeared on American Idol’s first season as the California girl who liked rock ‘n roll and had a knack for fashion design. Since her time on Idol, Ryan released a single called “My Religion” in September 2004. The track, which Ryan co-wrote, performed very well, reaching number one on the US Billboard Hot Digital Songs chart. As a result, she was in the 2005 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records because she sold the most exclusive-single downloads in iTunes’ history. In 2004-2005, Ryan made the list of the “Hottest Women in Reality TV.” Ryan has appeared on TV a number of times since American Idol. From 2004-2005, Ryan appeared on several reality TV shows. The Southern California native also appeared on FOX’s That ’70s Show as well as other comedies and dramas. In addition, she had the starring role in a direct-to-video movie called Ring of Darkness.
