When “The Big Bang Theory” premiered in September 2007, I was one of the first TV critics to praise it. I got a screener of the pilot episode and while most other critics gave the show a lukewarm review, I loved it from the very beginning. It helps that I am a complete nerd and share more than a few things with the characters on the show. From its premiere, “The Big Bang Theory” has been my second favorite comedy (”How I Met Your Mother” is my favorite). What was once the most packed night of the week is now full of mostly average shows. CBS screwed up my schedule by splitting up “How I Met Your Mother” and “The Big Bang Theory.” Since I don’t want to watch “Accidentally on Purpose” o “Two and a Half Men” live, I’ll probably watch “Heroes” and “Trauma” which will both look better in HD anyway. “Castle” rounds off the night but there will probably be times I just watch it online and watch “How I Met Your Mother” and “The Big Bang Theory” off tape instead. After those two comedies, the next shows on my agenda will probably be “House” (am I the only one that thinks this show has gotten a little stale lately?), “Gossip Girl,” “Accidentally on Purpose,” and “Two and a Half Men.” I doubt I’ll watch every episode of “The Jay Leno Show” but I’m willing to give it a shot. “Lie to Me” and “Greek” will probably have to be held for the weekend.
