GeForce 7200GS Series, Affordable Price for Low-End Games Posted: 15 Sep 2009 02:22 AM PDT Do you want to have a graphics card installed on your PC? This time, I just want to share my experience about what I’ve felt with GeForce 7200GS card. I could tell, that this graphics card has very affordable price for everybody. Than you still using on-board card, 7200GS of course is much better. I tried to browse my all photos collection, which I’ve taken with Canon Powershot A480 10 megapixels digital camera. If you know, 10 megapixels is the high resolution, everyone need a good graphics card to open and see it one by one. I’ve done that and there’s no problem. For detail specifications, GeForce 7200GS has only 64-bit interface and 256MB memory. Detected on PC’s system as 7200GS or 7300SE main engine. Core clock: 450MHz and memory clock 338MHz (676MHz data rate). This VGA card runs on PCI Express interface. Created by NVidia in about of early 2007. I tried to play Command and Conquer: Generals, and perform as well. I’ve also played Empire Earth II and this card still looks OK. but, please note, you should know, those games is produced long before 2005. I have not tried to play the latest games with this VGA. Price range between $30-$40. One day, I downloaded a game from gametop.com, named “City Racing.” Unfortunately, there was a slight problem, I use Intel Pentium 4 processor 2.8GHz HT support, 512MB of RAM 667 and 40GB HDD. The graphics rendering is less smooth, choked stagnant. The gameplay became slower, lack almost everywhere. I do not know what caused this to happen, my RAM that only has 512MB, or my graphics card 7200GS series. Than use still using on-board VGA card, 7200GS is better and enjoy play older great 3D games comfortably such as Command and Conquer: Generals Zero Hour, Stronghold II, Age of Empire III, Civilization IV, Call of Duty, and much more. |
