Jennifer Hudson’s Sophomore Album is Now Available

Season 3 Idol finalist, Jennifer Husdon, released her sophomore album, I Remember Me, is in stores and online today! The highly anticipated follow up to her self-titled album, I Remember Me features the hit single “Where You At” as well “Angel” and “I Got This.” The album is already getting rave reviews from EW, 4 stars from NY Daily News and 3 1/2 stars from USA Today.

“Where You At” reached the #1 spot on the Bubbling Under the Hot 100 Billboard chart two weeks ago. Jennifer Hudson returns to the American Idol stage during this Thursday’s Top 11 Results show to perform the single. She will be all over your TV sets this week promoting her new album on a variety of talk shows and she shows off her svelte figure on the cover of Essence Magazine this month.

The seventh place finalist proves that you can be successful in the industry no matter what place you come in! She’s the first (and only at this time) Idol finalist to win an Academy Award and Golden Globe Award. She released her self-titled album in 2008 and it earned Jennifer her very first Grammy Award. Jennifer has starred in a variety of movies including Dreamgirls, Sex and the City, and The Secret Life of Bees. This year, she’ll star as Winnie Mandela in the movie Winnie.

Adam Lambert’s ‘Glam Nation Live’ in Stores Now

Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert released Glam Nation Live CD/DVD today. Shot in Indianapolis, Indiana at Clowes Hall on August 31st, 2010 and directed by Doug Spangenberg, the CD/DVD features 12 tracks plus a bonus cut and includes some of Adam’s most beloved performances such as “Ring of Fire”, “If I Had You” and the Grammy nominated “Whataya Want From Me.”

Glam Nation Live also includes “Aftermath,” the song Adam performed acoustically a week and a half ago on the Season 10 Idol stage. In an exclusive interview, Adam opens up about “Aftermath” and The Trevor Project. Watch the video now.

The Top 12 got to pick a song from the year they were born. In a season where the oldest and youngest Idols are more than eleven years apart, we heard everything from Elton John to Vanessa Williams. No matter what year they were born, each finalist took on a huge song!

Top 12 Results and Top 11 Details

Finalist Karen Rodriguez was eliminated Thursday night on American Idol after she received the fewest of America’s votes. On Wednesday’s performance show, the Top 12 performed songs from the year they were born, and Rodriguez, 21, from New York, NY, sang “Love Will Lead You Back.” In addition, Grammy Award-winning pop superstars The Black Eyed Peas sang their latest hit, “Just Can’t Get Enough,” and Idol Season Nine winner Lee DeWyze took the stage to perform “Beautiful Like You.”

During the show, host Ryan Seacrest announced that viewers can help those affected by the recent tragic events in Japan by donating much-needed funds. Donations will be accepted via text-messaging by texting REDCROSS to 90999. A $10 donation will be added to the user’s mobile bill, and proceeds will go to the American Red Cross to help their efforts in Japan. Messaging and data rates may apply.
