J.R. Martinez Invited to Pentagon Meeting Posted: 27 Nov 2011 01:04 AM PST Filed under: Dancing With The Stars, TV News, Celebrities and Gossip ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 13 winner J.R. Martinez has been invited to meet officials at the Pentagon. According to the Associated Press, Martinez was invited to visit with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta. The Army veteran, who won hearts on ABC’s ‘All My Children’ before winning ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ had a 10-minute phone call with Panetta on Fri., Nov. 25. Lily Allen Is a Mom Posted: 27 Nov 2011 01:04 AM PST Singer Lily Allen and husband Sam Cooper welcomed their first baby, according to various reports. Lily’s pal, Charlie Condou, confirmed the baby girl had arrived, and tweeted, “Looks like Lily Allen has had her baby!” The pop star’s other friend Sam Chew tweeted, “Sending out love to lily, sam and mini cooper… YES.” Allen, 26, married Cooper, a painter and decorator in England last June. The birth of her daughter comes after losing a baby boy in Nov. 2010 when she contracted a viral infection six months into her pregnancy. Lily also miscarried her first pregnancy in Jan. 2008, while she dated British musician Ed Simons. Baby Bump Watch 2011 Hilary Duff Hilary Duff is pregnant with her first child. Duff, 24, recently announced she is expecting a boy. The actress is married to pro hockey player Mike Comrie. Jessica Simpson Although she hasn’t announced it yet, engaged singer Jessica Simpson is reportedly pregnant with her first child. The fashion mogul is engaged to footballer Eric Johnson. Bruce Willis and Emma Heming Bruce Willis, 54, and model wife Emma Heming, 35, are expecting their first child together early next year. Willis, who was previously married to Demi Moore, has three daughters: Rumer, 23, Scout, 20, and Tallulah Belle, 17. Beyonce Beyoncé made a surprise announcement at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, when she took to the stage and said, “Tonight I want you to stand up on your feet; I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside of me.” Knowles and her husband of three years, Jay Z, are expecting their first child together. Christian Bale Bails on ‘Batman’ Posted: 27 Nov 2011 01:04 AM PST Holy big news, Batman! “The Dark Knight Rises” star Christian Bale has announced his nights as a superhero vigilante are over, according to US Weekly. Bale told the Philippine Daily Inquirer, “I wrapped a few days ago so that will be the last time I’m taking that [Batman hood] off. I believe that the whole production wrapped yesterday, so it’s all done. Everything’s finished. It’s me and [director Christopher Nolan] — that will be the end of that ‘Batman’ era.” The franchise was rebooted in 2005, when Bale teamed up with Nolan for “Batman Begins,” which earned $372 million worldwide, and “The Dark Knight,” with the late Heath Ledger, which pulled in a whopping $1 billion globally. “The Dark Knight Rises” opens in theaters July 20, 2012.
