Melanie Moore on the Cover of Dance Spirit Magazine Posted: 19 Oct 2011 03:56 AM PDT See America's Favorite Dancer, Melanie Moore, on the Cover of Dance Spirit Magazine America's Favorite Dancer, Melanie Moore, danced away with the Season 8 title, $250,000, she's on Gatorade.com and in the new G Series FIT print campaign, and now she graces the cover of Dance Spirit magazine's November issue. In the article, Melanie talks about her start in dance and how it helped her through the toughest time of her life. The Marietta, GA native discusses her move to New York City and what inspired her to audition for Season 8 of So You Think You Can Dance. You'll also want to check-out the gorgeous shots from the stunning dancer's photo shoot with Dance Spirit. Melanie offers up this advice to Dance Spirit readers: "Never doubt yourself. Judging from the pictures we received, it looks like everyone took full advantage of their rare day off from touring around the country! George Lucas Surprises ’2011 Scream Awards’ to Torment Darth Vader (VIDEO) Posted: 19 Oct 2011 03:56 AM PDT Filed under: Reality-Free, TV Replay It’s always a lot of fun when genre fans get together for the annual ‘Scream Awards’ (Tue., 9PM ET on Spike TV), and this year was no exception. But fans were in for a special treat, as a surprise guest showed up to continue messing with his creation. Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed Finally Tie the Knot on ‘Family Jewels’ (VIDEO) Posted: 19 Oct 2011 03:56 AM PDT Filed under: TV Replay After many long years, Gene Simmons is finally growing up and ready to settle down with the woman he’s known it was going to be the whole time. And finally, the wedding day was here on ‘Gene Simmons Family Jewels’ (Tue., 9PM ET on A&E). Shannon Tweed was a gorgeous bride on this day she’d waited so long for. We were a little surprised she left that bit in the vows where she made a commitment to serve him all the days of their lives. Bob Harper Rides a Mechanical Bull on ‘The Biggest Loser’ (VIDEO) Posted: 19 Oct 2011 03:56 AM PDT Filed under: Reality-Free, TV Replay It was one of the craziest “challenges” in ‘The Biggest Loser’ (Tue., 8PM ET on NBC) history. Those quotations are there because even though this was a potential game changer, it was left entirely up to chance. Basically, a game of Plinko put the fate of one team entirely in the hands of one person. !!SPOILER ALERT!! That person turned out to be Sunny, who won a week-long trip home. The bad news was that her weight was going to be the only weight that counted for the Black Team this week. ‘DWTS’ Results: Say Goodbye to… Posted: 19 Oct 2011 03:56 AM PDT …Carson Kressley. The hilarious “Dancing with the Stars” contestant and his partner Anna Trebunskaya were the next to go. In this week’s ’80s theme, the dancing duo put some jitterbug into their Jive, performing the Wham! Song “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.” The judges loved how creative Kressley could be, but they just didn’t think he had enough technique to make it another week. Watch Carson and Anna’s Jive! When Kressley, a crowd favorite, was eliminated, there was a loud “Nooooooo!” from the audience. “Thank you to everybody at dancing with the stars,” the “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” star said. “This has been pure joy to me. … I hope I could make everyone laugh and smile. Shia LaBeouf Beaten Up in Vancouver Posted: 19 Oct 2011 03:56 AM PDT Actor Shia LaBeouf was caught on tape being repeatedly punched in the head by a shirtless, hairy-bellied man on a Vancouver sidewalk last week. TMZ reports LaBeouf originally had a beef with the man inside a bar called Cinema Public House, and after security kicked them both out, the man tore off his shirt and began beating up the “Transformers” star. Sometimes it’s for Psych episodes, sometimes it’s for turkey.” But with great fans, comes great responsibility.
