In a season full of surprises, next week’s final performance show promises to be a night to remember as 16-year-old Lauren and 17-year-old Scotty – the youngest contestants ever to battle it out in the finale – go head-to-head at the Nokia Theatre L.A. The Deluxe Edition features Underwood’s current album Play On plus an additional CD that includes 6 of her previous #1 singles. The Season 4 American Idol’s Australian visit will launch mid-June and will undertake a full promotional schedule while visiting Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.She also hopes to enjoy some down time and take in some of the local highlights. “I am really looking forward to my first trip to Australia,” says Carrie.”I can’t wait to meet my fans down under, and hope to make some new fans too! I’ve always dreamed of playing in Australia, and hope to have time to explore some of the sights this amazing country has to offer!” Soul Surfer, the film in which Carrie made her big screen debut, will be released in Australia later this month. These individual songs will sell for $1.29 each. The songs released on iTunes are studio versions recorded by the Idols under the guidance of Jimmy Iovine‘s team, including some of the hottest producers in the business, such as Jim Jonsin, Mark Bright and “Tricky” Stewart.
