Haley Reinhart’s Idol Ride

American Idol Season 10′s second runner-up, Haley Reinhart, opened up about her Idol experience and her plans moving forward on a press call, the morning after her elimination. She talked about singing with her father, the tour, her future album, and more.

On Wednesday’s performance show, Haley got the rare opportunity to perform with her father, who backed her up on the electric guitar. Haley describes getting to perform with her family in Chicago and with her dad on stage: “That was amazing. My parents have basically just taught me the rules of the stage and everything since I was eight. I mean the first big thing I ever got to do was on my ninth birthday. That day I got to play in an International Tattoo Festival, and it was huge. I sang “Blue” actually, from LeAnn Rimes, because that’s when I had figured out that I could yodel…I think I was overwhelmed and probably cried afterwards but it was just an amazing feeling. It’s always been a dream of mine to get somewhere and to have my mom and dad with me up there. So, I got to go back home and play with their band, and then having him on the stage and having him just give him a couple of licks and show America what he can do, that was just so special to me…He was just on cloud nine. In a season full of surprises, next week’s final performance show promises to be a night to remember as 16-year-old Lauren and 17-year-old Scotty – the youngest contestants ever to battle it out in the finale – go head-to-head at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Carrie Underwood will make her first-ever trip to Australia this summer to promote the June 10^th release of Play On: Deluxe Edition in Australia and New Zealand. The Deluxe Edition features Underwood’s current album Play On plus an additional CD that includes 6 of her previous #1 singles.

The Season 4 American Idol’s Australian visit will launch mid-June and will undertake a full promotional schedule while visiting Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.She also hopes to enjoy some down time and take in some of the local highlights. “I am really looking forward to my first trip to Australia,” says Carrie.”I can’t wait to meet my fans down under, and hope to make some new fans too! Season 4 finalist Anthony Fedorov announced that he will release his debut single, “You’re Perfect,” on June 29^th. The song will be available for purchase on iTunes, AirgoMusic.com, and AnthonyFedorov.com.

Top 3 Compilation Album

The three full length versions of the “Choice Cuts” songs performed by the American Idol Top 3 Season 10 contestants on Wednesday night’s show are now on sale exclusively on the iTunes Store. These individual songs will sell for $1.29 each.

The songs released on iTunes are studio versions recorded by the Idols under the guidance of Jimmy Iovine‘s team, including some of the hottest producers in the business, such as Jim Jonsin, Mark Bright and “Tricky” Stewart.

The three full length songs available from the “American Idol” Top 3 Season 10 contestants are:
