Snape Dies in the Boathouse and Not in Shrieking Shack in 'Deathly Hallows 2'

It is confirmed that our favorite 'Harry Potter' character Severus Snape aka the Half-Blood Prince is going to die in the Boathouse in the upcoming 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Part 2'.

So what's the big deal? It is big deal for us 'Harry Potter' fans, because in the book, Snape dies in the Shrieking Shack and not in the Boathouse and of course Snape is a big character he is a key, and everybody loves him.

Did the author JK Rowling agree? According to Andrew Ackland-Snow, the Art Director of the said film, JK Rowling agreed and loved it.

So why in the Boathouse? The creative team of the film wants to give a romantic ending for Snape. The team wanted to change a bit where Snape dies and to get him out from, not a conventional interior, but from that kind of box, to do it in a more dramatic atmosphere.


So what's the Boathouse? A crystal house, where you can see what happens in the boat house from there. It is near the lake and a very romantic place to die.

But before our Snapey dies, Harry Potter has returned to Hogwarts. According to Steve 'Frosty' Weintraub of Collider.com:

..I see Snape positioned where Dumbledore used to stand at the top of the steps. As the new Headmaster, Snape is addressing a room full of students. He's telling them that anyone who knows the whereabouts of Harry Potter – whether it be student or faculty – needs to come forward with any information or the punishment will be severe. Snape continues with the news that the school has the best magic protection and Harry Potter will not be able to enter the grounds. The former potions teacher walks among the students, looking at them, his gaze intense and his dialogue slow and methodical. He's clearly hoping someone will tell him something. As he finishes saying his last line he looks up because he hears the voice of Harry Potter saying, "I don't think the protection was good enough." All the students turn, looking shocked. Harry Potter has returned to Hogwarts.

American Idol Season 10 Premieres on 20 & 21 January on QTV-11

Another Pop Music Sensation is going to be born right before our eyes as the 2011 Idol Fever officially starts on January 20 and 21, 2011 here in the Philippines. The much awaited and much talked-about 10th season of 'American Idol'—the biggest and the most watched talent show in the world—goes on air for another round of breathtaking performances and jaw dropping surprises!


This season is full of surprises, twists and changes. And Idol fanatics get a front row seat to Season 10′s surprises via Q Channel 11′s two-part premiere airing on January 20 and 21 (Thursday and Friday).

Ryan Seacrest is going to host the whole season together with the resident judge Randy Jackson.
