American Idol’s host with the most, Ryan Seacrest, celebrates his birthday on Christmas Eve day. Hopefully Ryan will have time to relax and enjoy his day, because the busiest man in show business has a new season of American Idol right around the corner. Ryan returns as Idol’s host for his 10^th season on Wednesday, January 19^th at 8/7c on FOX.

This has been a big year for the TV host/entertainment reporter/radio host/executive producer/entrepreneur. Last month, the Ryan Seacrest Foundation unveiled the first broadcast media center within a pediatric hospital, named THE VOICE^SM, at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Ryan opened up about his foundation and what the broadcast centers mean to him-watch the interview.

Three years ago, the Emmy Awards added a category for Outstanding Reality TV hosts, and Ryan has been nominated for the award each time for his work on American Idol. He also hosted the award show in 2007. Whether it be comforting nervous contestants, reading off phone numbers, creating dramatic pauses, or joking around with the judges, Ryan always brings his energy and professionalism to the American Idol stage.
