| Carrie Underwood Receives Two AMA Nominations Posted: 14 Oct 2010 03:21 AM PDT Season 4′s American Idol, Carrie Underwood, was nominated for two American Music Awards. She is nominated in the categories of “Favorite Country Music Female Artist” and “Favorite Country Music Album” for her 2009 release, Play On. To date, Carrie has received five American Music Awards. The live broadcast will take place at the home of American Idol’s past several finales, Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE, on Sunday, November 21st.
