Happy Birthday, Brandon Rogers!

Season 6s Brandon Rogers started his career in the music industry as a backup vocalist performing with some of the biggest pop artists including Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, and Anastacia. While on American Idol, Brandon received much praise for his smooth R&B vocals and he made it all the way to the Top 12.

In 2008, Brandon appeared in an episode of FOXs show Bones with Season 5s Ace Young. During Season 8 of American Idol, Brandon served as a correspondent for the TV show, Idol Tonight. On May 26, 2009, Brandon released an R&B album called “Automatic.” The record was produced by Authentik Artists. Brandon recorded a video for the single Joy off his record. Watch the music video. This month, Brandon performed in a Christmas concert with 12 other Idol finalists.

Season 3 American Idol finalist John Stevens sings with the Beantown Swing Orchestra, an 18-piece swing band of young, top-notch jazz musicians. Currently, John and the Beantown Swing Orchestra are in a contest to be the next voice of Foxwoods, the worlds largest casino. Fans have until February 8 to vote for John online, and 10 finalists will perform at Foxwoods. The winner will receive $25,000 in cash and prizes and be featured in Foxwoods commercials next year. It was six years ago that the 16 year old red-headed crooner charmed America with his take on jazz standards. Now 22, John is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and just released a Christmas album, Home for Christmas. When performing with the Beantown Swing Orchestra, John sings the classic Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin big band arrangements that he loves. One week ago, John sang both the American and Canadian national anthems at the Buffalo Sabres vs. Montreal Canadiens NHL hockey game in Buffalo.
