She may have come on to the scene as the new judge, but Kara has had years of experience in the music industry, and now shell be able to show the newest judge, Ellen DeGeneres, the ropes. As an award-winning song writer, music producer, and owner of Arthouse Entertainment, Kara has worked with some of the most renowned musical artists in the industry, including American Idol finalists. Some of the most recent songs she wrote for former Idol contestants include Mamas Song and Undo It from Carrie Underwoods Play On, Strut from Adam Lamberts For Your Entertainment, I Do Not Hook Up from Kelly Clarksons All I Ever Wanted, and No One Else off Allison Irahetas Just Like You. | Kelly Clarkson’s Decade Honors Posted: 10 Dec 2009 09:10 AM PST Rolling Stone magazine revealed their artist, song, and album of the decade, and American Idols first winner, Kelly Clarkson, had her name appear all over the charts! Fans voted in a poll and here are the numbers and categories where Kelly placed. Top Artists of the Decade Top Album of the Decade Top Singles of the Decade 100 Best Songs of the Decade RollingStone.com also featured a photo gallery of The Decade in Music and included a photo of Kelly with Justin Guarini from the Season 1 finale with the caption, A British import called American Idol debuted in 2002, forever cementing the terms pitchy and dawg in the American vocabulary. The new "American Idol" hopefuls will meet judge Ellen DeGeneres for the first time during Hollywood Week. Normally filmed in November, the challenging auditions week in which 200 contestants vie for 24 or 36 semifinalist slots (producers haven't yet revealed the number), will take place next month and will include DeGeneres on the panel with Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi.
