Asus UX30, Ultra-Slim and Lightweight Laptop with Great Performance

The first market may be in India, then I guess it will go soon to worldwide. Asus UX30 laptop has just come to offer some advantages than any others laptop. Especiall its design which looks very slim and light. This ultra-portable 13.3-inch laptop is part of the Asus ‘U’ series family, which supports ultra-slim profile with a thickness measures less than 2 cm. Built-in with the ultra low voltage Intel processor, Asus UX30 laptop offers a price range about $1,275.

What about the specifications of this great laptop? Asus UX30 equipped with 13.3-inch WXGA LED display that support HD playback with the screen resolution of 1366×768 pixels. To support the high performance, Asus adds Intel Core 2 Solo processor 1.3GHz paired with Intel GS45 chipset. Memory capacity up to 4GB 800MHz and 320GB HDD.

I think the hardware specifications is high enough, so I also can guess that its performance is better than netbook. Another feature, there is AI Light sensor technology to create illumination on the keyboard and trackpad area with the brightness of the screen, which ever existed in the MacBook Air.

You like to play games? But don’t think you can play high-end 3D games as well, this is only onboard graphics card, Intel GMA 4500MHD. It’s very suitable for standard graphics applications. Others specs are Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), and Windows Vista Home Basic embedded OS. Estimated battery life is only able to 4 hours, come equipped with great sound quality, SRS Premium.
