Jason Castro’s New Music Video

Jason Castro just released a music video for his single Lets Just Fall in Love Again. In the video, Jason shows off his playful and sensitive sides. The music video was shot in Los Angeles and it was directed by Travis Kopach (Panic At The Disco, All Time Low, Jesse James). Watch the video here.

Currently, Jason is touring the country and hitting up 14 malls from coast to coast. The performances are free and will give fans a sneak peek at Jason’s upcoming debut album which includes the single “Let’s Just Fall In Love Again.” Jason will also have meet and greets at each tour stop.

Elliott Yamin to Speak at World Diabetes Congress

Season 5s Elliott Yamin will be a special guest at the 20th World Diabetes Congress on Wednesday, October 21. Sharing his first hand experiences as a diabetic, Elliott will discuss living with diabetes and how to educate people through music. His speaking engagement is from 11:30 AM 12:30 PM at the Palais des Congrs de Montral in Montreal, Canada.

The World Diabetes Congress is the premier gathering of the global diabetes community, and the event is held every other year. Elliott participated in World Diabetes Day on November 14, 2007, where he was joined by children with diabetes for a performance of the song Promise to Remember Me in the United Nations Rose Garden. Elliott is involved with a number of diabetes charities including Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Promise to Remember Me Campaign, and Diabetes Creative Expression Competition.

In a past interview with Diabetes Health, Elliot told kids to stay positive. Make time for your diabetes and be aware of your bodyAnyone with diabetes can have a normal life. It makes me so happy that Im showing kids and teenagers that they should absolutely go for their dreams.

Happy Birthday, Lil Rounds!

Fresh off the American Idols LIVE! 2009 tour, Lil Rounds has accomplished a lot in just 25 years. The wife and mother of three little kids has survived a tornado, Season 8 auditions, and Simon Cowell. In fact, Simon admitted to being a big fan of Lils voice from the very beginning. Lils performance of Mary J. Bliges Be Without You advanced her from the Top 36 to the Top 13 finalists. Lil made it all the way to the Top 7, and she got to perform with Queen Latifah during the American Idol season finale.

While on tour this summer, Lil showed off her powerful vocals, singing songs by Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, and Beyonce to arenas of fans in 50 cities. Now that the tour is over, Lil has been meeting with music executives and is beginning to work on an album. We caught up with Lil as she was touring around the country. Happy Birthday, Michael Johns!

Its been a year and a half since Michael Johns was singing for the title of Season 7s American Idol, and although the fans of the Aussie believed he left too soon, Michael has proven that he belongs in the music industry since his time on Idol.

Soon after Season 7 ended, Michael released a charity Christmas track. He also sang and co-wrote the soundtrack to Dont Look Down, which is the documentary about snowboarder Shaun White.

This past June, Michael released his new album, Hold Back My Heart. The single Heart on My Sleeve off this album made it to #22 on the charts. Michael promoted his music by going on tour with fellow Season 7 finalist Brooke White. This fall, they traveled together around the western United States to perform their own songs and a few duets.

Starting tomorrow, Michael will tour to 10 cities on the HITMAN: a special evening David Foster and Friends tour. The second American Idol, Ruben Studdard, will be part of this tour too.

Adam Lambert goes ‘heterosexual’ for Details magazine, records with Lady Gaga

Adam Lambert describes the extra-racy spread he did for the new issue of Details magazine, which you can find on newsstands now, as "heterosexual."

In the video clip above, the singer said he "really delved in" to the shoot. He's posed provocatively with a nude model in several of the shots. "It was educational, nostalgic, sweaty…. I'll remember this one definitely." See some of the other photos here.

But don't be deceived: Lambert told the magazine, "I am gay, but I like kissing women sometimes. Women are pretty. It doesn't mean I'm necessarily sleeping with them."

In other Lambert news, the "American Idol" runner-up has been working in the studio with Lady Gaga to record a song she wrote for his upcoming album "For Your Entertainment," out Nov. 23. 

He tweeted Monday: "Yes it's true: I spent yesterday
in the studio w the insanely talented and creative Lady GaGa recording
a song that she wrote! I love her." And later in the day: "GaGa just gets it, ya know?"
