Being a self professed nerd, I had always wanted to watch the original series of Star Trek but I kept postponing watching it. This summer I was finally able to watch the entire series and while the show isn’t the best show ever, it is still a very good show. Having watched season two this summer in normal definition gave me a good comparison for the Blu-Ray version. While the Blu-Ray is not perfect, fans of Star Trek should get their money’s worth with the second season on Blu-Ray.

Episode Synopsis: BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN ("TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES") GUEST STARS AS JOHN CORBEN — Clark (Tom Welling) tells Jor-El he's ready to start his training, but Jor-El sends him back to Metropolis to cut ties with Lois before he can begin. Chloe (Allison Mack) is shocked when Lois (Erica Durance) suddenly reappears after having been missing for weeks, but Lois has no recollection of vanishing into thin air with the Legion ring. As with most crime dramas, I prefer to watch them off DVD (or in this case Blu-ray) whenever I’m in the mood for a procedural. “CSI” has always been one of my favorites and it’s the first one I start watching when the DVDs and Blu-rays are released each year. “CSI” is getting a bit old and inconsistent (almost all shows nine seasons in have the exact same problems) but it’s still one of the best crime dramas on the air.
