What I’ll Be Watching This Fall: Wednesday

Posted: 16 Sep 2009 03:02 AM PDT

Watch Live:

  • 8/7c-Hank
  • 8:30/7:30c-The Middle
  • 9/8c-Modern Family
  • 9:30/8:30c-Cougar Town
  • 10/9c-Eastwick

Watch Online or Off Tape:

  • Ghost Hunters (Syfy)
  • MythBusters (Discovery Channel)
  • The New Adventures of Old Christine
  • Gary Unmarried
  • Secret Girlfriend (Comedy Central)
  • Nostradamus Effect (History)
  • MysteryQuest (History)
  • Destination Truth (Syfy)
  • Mercy
  • Glee
  • The Beautiful Life
  • The Jay Leno Show

ABC’s Wednesday schedule is completely full of new shows and I’ll likely be watching every one of them live in the fall. I’ve seen all four of their comedies and loved two (”The Middle” and “Modern Family”) and somewhat enjoyed the other two (”Hank” and “Cougar Town”). I don’t watch many procedurals so “Eastwick” gets the nod at 9 even though I think it could wind up being terrible. Most of the other shows I plan to watch are either cable shows or network shows I don’t care for all that much and will probably wait to watch them over the weekend. “Ghost Hunters” and “MythBusters” are two of my favorite cable shows and they’ll definitely be the first two shows watched off tape. Most of the other shows will probably be watched throughout the week unless some of them are breakout hits.

What will you be watching on Wednesdays this fall?
