The TV Legion often receives free products to review on the site. While we don't give these products any preferential treatment (other than a guaranteed review), we want to be open about what we do receive for free. If you work for any company that promotes any TV show, DVD, video game, or anything else and would like to send us something to review, send us an e-mail.

Received Today:

  • Stella: Live in Boston-I have never seen “Stella” but based on the great things I’ve heard about it, I can’t wait to watch this DVD.
  • Terry Fator: Live From Las Vegas-I just got the DVD today and I’ve already watched it. Terry Fator is easily the most talented “America’s Got Talent” performer of all-time and he’s phenomenal on this DVD. My review should be up tomorrow.

Modern Family already should be a comedy hit as long as America actually shows up to watch it. Another comedy that ABC is launching this fall is The Middle. The Middle might look your generic family comedy and for the most part you would be right. The family comedy has had a rough time recently especially since there hasn’t been a great family comedy in years. While The Middle might not be the most original comedy, it is arguably the best family comedy on television.

Back in the 1930’s and 1940’s a group of short films were created which went by the name of Our Gang. These films eventually were repackaged as the show The Little Rascals in the 1950’s. I honestly don’t remember if I have ever seen any of the Little Rascals episodes but I am pretty familiar with the franchise. Now fans of the Our Gang short films or The Little Rascal shows from the 1950’s can relive all the films in this five disc collection. While the films show their age, fans of the franchise should enjoy this DVD collection.
