Brothers & Sisters The Complete Third Season Review Posted: 03 Sep 2009 04:12 PM PDT
The Walker clan is back for another season. Just in time for the fourth season which begins on September 27th, the complete third season of Brothers & Sisters was released this Tuesday on DVD. While Brothers & Sisters has never been a great show, it has been a good show. The third season DVD isn’t great but overall a pretty good DVD set. About two years ago when Greek premiered I have to admit that I wasn’t much of a fan. I thought the pilot was pretty bad and the next couple of episodes didn’t help things. Things started to change around midway through the first season though and Greek actually became a pretty good show. Chapters one and two comprised the first season so chapter three begins season two. While Greek is still not a great show, it is an above average show for college and high school students and even some adults. America’s Got Talent Semi-Finals Show #2 (September 2nd, 2009) Posted: 02 Sep 2009 09:34 PM PDT Well I knew it wasn’t going to last. America has been known to not vote very well on America’s Got Talent. This season America was actually voting surprisingly well. I should have known it wasn’t going to last the entire season though since the only time that actually happened was in season two when Terry Fator won. I honestly don’t know how the voters could have gotten things any more wrong this week. More thoughts on that and how America’s Got Talent needs to change next season after the break. Criss Angel: Mindfreak S5.E4 “Terminal Velocity” (September 2, 2009) Recap Posted: 02 Sep 2009 08:11 PM PDT Crate Vanish: At a remote location, Criss places several plastic crates that you can see through on the ground. He then has two people raise a sheet and when they drop it, he has vanished. How He Did It (highlight the following text area if you want to know how Criss did it): Most of these tricks involve mirrors that reflect the ground so you can’t see the magician hiding behind something. Before the trick begins, the magician always “proves” that there are no mirrors by using a person from the crowd. When the illusion begins, some sort of switch or pedal is used and the mirror flips down. Criss then simply dropped to the ground and used the crates and sheet to keep him out of view. Umbrella Appear: At Not Just Antiques, Criss puts an opened umbrella on a table. When he moves it away from the table, a girl has appeared.
