Exclusive Interview with Casey James

Season 9s third place finalist, Casey James, is currently touring around the country with the American Idols LIVE! 2010 Tour. He took time out of his busy tour schedule to talk about the upcoming Texas shows, performing on no sleep, and what was in that mystery box!

Casey is having a wonderful time on tour. I love everything about it! Obviously the music is what its all about. Getting to meet the people and see new places has been great.

MyIdol member Danna1988 wanted to know which of the tour stops was most interesting and why. Casey said, Once you get into the rhythm of being on tour, its kind of the same thing everyday. Theres no big difference from town to town, except that the people give you a sense of where youre at. We got a day off in Washington D.C. and I got to see the Capitol building, the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Arlington National Cemetery, and it was all really cool. I walked 10 miles around D.C. that day.

During Season 9, Casey always put on a mini-rock concert with his performances. PoisonIvyRed wanted to know how Casey manages to have so much energy when hes on stage even though he is getting so little rest. Every single time Im on stage Im energized for my performance. Season 9s top girl, Crystal Bowersox, has had a very busy year! Since coming in second place on American Idol, Crystal has signed with 19 Recordings/Jive Records, has started working on her album, and is currently touring the nation with Season 9s Top 10 on the American Idols LIVE! 2010 Tour. Crystal opened up exclusively to AmericanIdol.com about her family, writing songs, and why she loves her fans.

We chatted with Crystal the day before her 25th birthday. She said she doesnt have any celebration plans. Im not a big birthday person. We have a show on my birthday, so thats what Ill be doing! Crystal took to her Twitter account to tell her fans, If you are planning on getting anything for birthday… please donate whatever youdve spent to a charity of your choice. Thank you! The charitable young lady recently visited the White House as a rep for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Crystals favorite thing about being on tour is getting to do what I love. Since shes the second-to-last singer to perform at each show, we asked her what she did to pass the time as she waits to take the stage. She said, I dont do anything extra special. I walk around and hangout. Sometimes Ill nap.
