Fantasia’s ‘Back To Me’ Tour

Season 3s American Idol, Fantasia, released her third studio album, Back To Me, a month ago. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 and at #1 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop chart, becoming Fantasias highest charting album. As a result of the successful new album, Fantasia has announced her Back To Me nationwide tour.

Fantasia will be joined by Kandi and Eric Benet for the 30-city tour which kicks off November 4th in Richmond, Virginia. The tour will then travel to Atlanta, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Los Angeles, New York, Memphis, Chicago, and more.

Crystal Bowersox to Tie the Knot

Season 9s top girl, Crystal Bowersox, plans on getting married next month to musician Brian Walker. The single mom from Ohio told PEOPLE, I hope to give my son a great model of what a happy marriage is or relationship could be.”

So who is the lucky man? Hes no stranger to Crystal, who said, “Brian’s known me for a long time, and so he’s been a part of my life for a long time. He’s known my boy. They laugh constantly. It’s hilarious.”

Just one year ago, Crystal was going through the American Idol audition process, and on Tuesday she attended Hard Rocks Pinktober Breast Cancer Awareness Program Launch, and she was invited to perform by her own Idol, Melissa Etheridge. She is in the process of recording her debut album with 19 Recordings/Jive Records.

Jackie Tohn’s Song in New Movie

Jason Castro’s Upcoming Album

Season 7s fourth place finalist,Jason Castro, will release another record, Who I Am, on November 9th exclusively on his website and at all Christian retailers. This album is a unique collection of songs; featuring five fresh tracks including the new single You Are to hit the Christian AC airwaves in October, alongside five fan-favorites from his self-titled debut album released this past spring.

Even though many of the songs are personal to him, Jason doesnt mind giving listeners a view into his world. I feel like the album really captures my personality, the Texan says. People got to know me a bit on the show, so I wanted to build on that by including all these songs Ive written about my life. I wanted to share with people the things that are meaningful to me.

This album includes tracks produced by both Eric Rosse (Tori Amos, Sara Bareilles) and Ian Eskelin (All Star United, Francesca Battistelli, Remedy Drive). Jason also collaborated with a host of top-notch songwriters including Marc Roberge of O.A.R., Gregg Wattenberg (Five For Fighting), Zac Maloy (fellow Season 7 finalist David Cook) and Espionage (Train) all of whom helped Jason create an earthy showcase for his gifts as a vocalist, songwriter and musician, not to mention the warmth and sincerity that shines through everything he does.

When Season 9s seventh place finalist, Tim Urban, was in Los Angeles with the American Idols LIVE! 2010 Tour, he was battling with a strained voice from all of the singing and interviews hes been doing. However, he didnt let that stop him from sharing his post-tour plans, stories about his amazing fans, and opening up about a possible future in acting.

With the Idol tour wrapping up soon, Tim said, I dont like thinking about it being over. The best part of being on tour its clich, its what you expect everyone to say is being on stage performing and its meeting the fans. In reality, it really is. There really isnt any other option. My favorite part is not driving around on the buses which is fun, its great and its not staying at the random hotels. The fans are incredible. Its an incredible experience every time I step out on that stage.

Tim has quite the fan base, and hes so grateful to finally meet the people who supported him throughout his Season 9 journey. Meeting the fans has been incredible, Tim stated. I really did not expect this. People told me while I was on the show, Youve got a really big fan base, but Im thinking, I dont really have a big fan base. Cmon, seriously? Im just this kid from Dallas. But, the fans have been nuts. The fans have been so supportive, so nice. Its been really cool. And theyve given me a bunch of gifts.
