Happy Birthday, Adam Lambert! Posted: 30 Jan 2010 01:47 AM PST Just one year ago, the country was introduced to Adam Lambert on the Season 8 San Francisco auditions episode. Since stepping onto the scene, Adam has become a household name. With his Top 36 performance of Satisfaction, Adam sailed into the Top 13. His bold song choices and impeccable vocals contributed to his safety week after week, eventually making him the Season 8 runner-up. Soon after Season 8 wrapped, Adam was signed to 19 Recordings and licensed to RCA Records. While touring around the country with the Top 10 on the American Idols LIVE! 2010 tour, Adam was simultaneously writing and recording tracks for his debut album. On November 23, 2009, Adam released For Your Entertainment, which debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200. As of now, the album has sold approximately 478,000 units in the U.S. Earlier this week, the birthday boy visited birthday girl Ellen DeGeneres on the set of her talk show to perform Strut in honor of her 52nd birthday. Double the ‘Idol’ on Tuesdays in March and April Posted: 30 Jan 2010 01:47 AM PST As we gear up for Hollywood week, Fox announced several more two-hour episodes slated for Season 9. The Top 12 performance show on March 16 will start a four-week run of two-hour Tuesdays, continuing on to March 23, March 30 and April 6. Kara DioGuardi and Elliott Yamin head to Angola for ‘Idol Gives Back’ Posted: 30 Jan 2010 01:47 AM PST Elliott Yamin is headed back to Angola for this year's "Idol Gives Back," and Kara DioGuardi is tagging along. "We're going back and Kara is rolling with me," Elliott tells Idol Tracker. "The last time I was there with Fantasia, we visited a school that had this flight of stairs that led to nowhere. They told me there wasn't enough money to finish building the school, so I got Exxon-Mobil to underwrite $100,000 so that the kids would have an adequate place to learn." Elliott added that his role will be to take Kara around and "show her the ropes." The two will also present a check to Sister Dominguez and continue the "Idol Gives Back" initiative with Malaria No More, an organization that provides mosquito nets to help thwart the spread of malaria. "This is very special to me," said Elliott. "It's a chance to go over there and show how Malaria No More, Exxon-Mobil and 'Idol Gives Back' are collectively putting that money to work and tangibly show that we're able to make a difference." Melai Pasok Na Sa BIG 4 :) Posted: 29 Jan 2010 01:05 AM PST I am sure tuwang-tuwa ang Melason dahil pasok na nga si Melai sa BIG 4 matapos nitong manalo sa Endurance Test for the final round where the last man standing wins. Tumagala ang nasabing task for 10-11 hours, para di makatulog si Melai ay naglaro sila ng spelling ni Jason, then nagbasa si Jason ng Visayan Bible na tinagalog naman ni Melai then palaging pinapaaalala ni Jason ang 5 things para hinde ito sumuko. Nang manalo si Melai, umiyak ito gayundin si Jason, so nakakiyak that scene ha, halatang maraming nagdasal na si Melai ang manalo. Pero kailangan di ma-evict si Melai bukas or else the spot will be given to Tibo, na pumangalawa sa laro. 'Agua Bendita' Papalitan Ang 'May Bukas Pa' Posted: 29 Jan 2010 12:52 AM PST Sa Linggo, 31 January 2010, ay ipapakikilala ng ABS-CBN si Andi Eigenmann bilang isa sa mga bituin na dapat abangan. Siya kasi ang magbibida sa teleserye remake ng 'Agua Bendita'. Ang balita ko ay ito ang papalit sa 'May Bukas Pa' (JUST CLICK HERE FOR YOU TO KNOW THE ENDING!. Marami ang nag-akala na ang 'Kokey @ Ako' ang papalit rito, pero hinahanda pa daw ito lalo't na busy ang direktor nito na si Direk Wenn Deramas sa 'Habang May Buhay' at 'Hating Kapatid'. Kaya daw ito ang ipapalit para wala daw masyadong pressure (since the lead star is fresh) to think na super top rater ang 'May Bukas Pa'. At least di rin masyadong nape-pressure si Angel na ang 'May Bukas Pa' ang papalitan niya, kung di man mag rate ang 'Agua Bendita' walang pressure kay Angel. At matatandaang biglaang inere ang 'May Bukas Pa' na kung saan nga si Zaijan "Santino" Jaranilla ang nagbida na isa pa noong the who, dapat nga kasi ay 'Utoy' ang eere. Malay natin na matulad si Andi kay Zaijan na naging sikat ng ohwver. Pero like I said, di pa sure kung ang 'Agua Bendita' nga ang papalit sa 'May Bukas Pa'
